How to Shop

Add items to the cart
Add items to your cart by clicking "ADD TO CART" button for each item you want to buy.

Confirm cart contents
Once you've added everything you want to your cart, click "View cart" button. On this page, confirm your cart's contents, then click "Check out."

Check out
You will be prompted to log in or create an account, or check out as a guest. Choose the option you desire and follow the steps that appear.

Receive an email from the system
Soon after you complete checkout, the system will automatically send you an email. Please ensure all details are correct, and contact us if there are any problems or questions.

Receive items
The last step is waiting to receive your order.
Your order will be shipped via EMS or DHL within 20 business days of your order.
The delivery time (required number of days to be delivered) depends on the EMS/DHL service of your country.
Once you receive your items, enjoy! Again, if there are any problems with your order, please don't hesitate to contact us, and we'll do our best to help fix the issue. Happy shopping!

Shipping Methods and Costs

Express deliveries are done using EMS or DHL, depending on the order and delivery address.
No choice of delivery method is available.

Payment Options

PayPal

All credit card transactions are processed securely by Shopify Payment or PayPal.

Currency:
Payments are available in Japanese Yen Only.

 

Return/Exchange/Cancellation

Since we share inventory with our other shops, the items you order might be out of stock. In that case, we will inform you and give you a full refund.

Cancel Policy:

- For cancellations, a cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
This fee covers the transaction fee we were charged when receiving your payment, which is not returned to us even when a refund is issued.
PayPal payments: approx. 4.2% of the total payment
Shopify payments: approx. 3.1% of the total payment

- Cancellations for the ordinary items must be received within 12 hours after your order.
- We do not accept cancellation after we pack your order, even within 12 hours after your order.
- Regarding some special items: "sale (discounted) items," "lottery items," "pre-order for the production on order items," "small quantity items," and "surprise package/box," we cannot accept cancellations, returns or exchanges.
If you cancel these items, we will not ever be able to accept your order for any items after that.
- If you cancel your order repeatedly, we cannot accept your order for any items after that.

Return Policy:

- Once we confirm your orders, we cannot accept cancellations or returns except in cases where you receive defective products or incorrect items.
- We are not responsible for damage during shipping.
- If you receive defective items, please contact us within 14 days of the date of delivery. We will then replace the product or refund your payment.
So please inspect the items soon after receipt.
In this case, send an email to  with a description of the defect; photos will be helpful for us to support.


Regarding Special Items:

"Happy Box (*)" and "Discounted" items will have some defects.
Basically, we do not accept cancellations, returns, or exchanges for discounted items.
*= "Happy Box" is a discounted surprise box/package.

Notice

Recipient Address:

Orders will be shipped to the address put in "Ship to" of each order placed at our store.
We will NOT refer to "shipping address" registered to your PayPal account.


Delivery and Risk:

PetWORKs' responsibility ends once the parcel is shipped.
We are not responsible for loss, damage, non-delivery, or return of packages.
We will do our best to help locate lost packages.

EMS Insurance:
All EMS shipments are insured.
If Japan Post confirms loss or damage, we will refund the insured amount.
Refunds are made after we receive the insurance payment.
PayPal refund fees are borne by the customer.
The process may take several months.

Delays:
We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping, customs, natural disasters, or other factors beyond our control.

Forwarding / High-Risk Addresses:
Orders to forwarding companies or high-risk addresses may be canceled.
If canceled, a payment processing fee (approx. 3.4–4%) will be deducted.
Refund = Total payment − processing fee

Returned Shipments:
- For EMS shipments:
 If a package is returned, the order will be canceled and a partial refund will be issued.
Refund = Items total − Shipping fee − Processing fee (approx. 4.2% of your payment)
If returned items are damaged, the refund may be reduced.
If you want reshipment, an additional shipping fee is required.
 Reshipment will be arranged at our discretion.
- For DHL shipments:
 We do not offer reshipment or refunds for undelivered or returned packages.


Currency:

Payments are available in Japanese Yen Only.

Languages:

Please enter your address and name using the English alphabet when filling out the shipping information.
According to Japan Post, EMS shipping labels should be written in the English alphabet.
Using other languages (such as Chinese, Korean Hangul, or European special characters) might cause character corruption.
PetWORKs will not be responsible for any delivery issues resulting from addresses or names written in characters other than the English alphabet.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes:

When ordering from PetWORKs Store, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
Customers outside Japan may be subject to customs fees and/or import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches the destination country.
You may be contacted by customs authorities in your country and/or required to pay customs fees.
Additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so we recommend contacting your local customs office or tax authority for information specific to your situation.

We will not accept "undervalue" requests:

We will not make the amount on an invoice lower than the actual price, not claim the package as a gift.
In compliance with the law, the amount on the invoice should be the same as the one on the bill of payment.

No resale:

Do not purchase our items in order to resell them at a profit.

Maximum amount of order:

The maximum amount for one order is JPY100,000.

Shipping Area:

We ship out items internationally.
We do not ship our items to the address in Japan.
If you would like us to ship our products to the address in Japan, please shop at our Japanese store.

Orders with shipping addresses in Japan will be canceled, and your payment will be refunded (refund fee [about 4.2% of your payment total + 40] JPY will be taken).

日本国内の住所が発送先となる御注文は自動キャンセルとなります。
